The Good Family—3 and soon to be 4 generations--gathered at Chapel Valley Estate from the East Coast and West Coast and Transatlantic for their 8th annual reunion in July. Rose and Denny were extremely gracious and accommodating hosts. The grounds are beautiful, rooms very comfortable, the bathrooms awesome, and breakfasts are gourmet. We enjoyed everything about our time there, and hope to come back.

Little Henry celebrated his second birthday with friends and family including Mawmaw and Pa D'Angelo and Mimi in the Carriage House Event Room. To his delight, Henry's party theme was Thomas the Train. He, his cousins, and friends wandered the paths with Pa and took pictures on the swing. Henry was elated when everyone sang "Happy Birthday" just for him. Opening presents and eating his yummy Thomas the Train cake were other highlights of the night.
My parents were celebrating 60 years of marriage and after much discussion we decided that we all needed to reclaim our roots in Ellwood City, Pa. We were all born and raised in Ellwood City but moved away in 1963 to various areas throughout the United States. We planned an anniversary / reunion for the weekend of July 31, 2010 at the Chapel Valley Bed and Breakfast owned by Rose and Denny D'Angelo. We hosted over 80 guests, who traveled from throughout the United States to Ellwood City. The accommodations were wonderful and the breakfasts were 5 Star! The Event Room and patio are beautiful and easily accommodated all of our guests. We had the most fabulous caterer, Joe Carusone, who was recommended by Rose! She never let us down!
All details had to be accomplished by phone, text and e-mail and Rose and Denny rose to the occasion. I actually felt that they were members of our family! There was no question too small to ask, no task too large to undertake. They were quietly behind the scenes making sure that everything was just perfect. It was a fabulous weekend and one that everyone will remember for years to come! My recommendation is that if you are searching for a venue to have a large party, anniversary, reunion you will not be disappointed if you choose Chapel Valley! We can't wait to start planning our next reunion there!
